Hi y’all! I am so incredibly excited to finally welcome you to Frontier Faith. This journey has been a long time coming, and while this first post might feel a little rocky as I find my footing, I am just so grateful to have you along for the ride.

Lately, life has been a beautiful, whirlwind balancing act. Between keeping my blog and devotionals updated and navigating my daily work-life schedule, there is always something to juggle. Plus, I’m approaching a special milestone—almost six months of marriage! Learning to navigate this new season of life with my husband has added a whole new layer to the art of finding balance, but it’s a challenge I’m embracing with a full heart.

A Vision God Laid on My Heart

Frontier Faith isn't just a hobby or something I’m doing "for fun". This is a ministry that God has been laying on my heart for a couple of years now. It started with subtle nudges—friends and mentors saying things like, "You should really write a Bible study," or "Have you ever thought about starting a devotional blog?"

When I finally took those comments to God in prayer and asked, "Is this really what You want me to do?" He answered with an abundantly clear, resounding yes.

Redefining What "Ministry" Looks Like

I’ve actually dreamed of having a ministry where I could pour into others for God’s glory since I was first called into ministry back in high school. However, through the years, I’ve learned a vital lesson: You don’t have to work at a church or a Christian organization to be "in ministry".

God doesn’t want to limit us to just one type of service. You can do ministry in any job, in any season, and in any location where God has placed you. While my background and current professional experience are rooted in local church ministry—which I am still deeply passionate about—I’ve realized that God is expanding my borders.

The Journey Ahead

Frontier Faith is about exploring the different ways God leads us to serve Him. Right now, that looks like this digital space, but I’m prayerfully pursuing other areas of ministry as well.

I believe we are all called to a "frontier"—a place where our faith meets the unknown. Whether you are working a 9-to-5, navigating a new marriage, or serving in your local church, I hope this space encourages you to answer whatever call God has placed on your heart.

Thank you for tagging along on this journey with me. Let’s see where He leads us next!
